Hope you had a great weekend!

I know spring weather hasn't gotten here yet - up here in Alaska we are still breaking coldest temp records! - but the sun is here.

And there's nothing like bright sun shining through dirty windows to get you in the mood for spring cleaning, is there? After a long, dark winter of being inside, come spring, I get extra motivated to clean and organize the house.

I've never been a huge paper towel user, and neither has the Ram, but we like to keep a roll around for guests to use, or for the occasional spill. But we don't use paper towels enough to claim a dedicated spot on the countertop or walls in our tiny kitchen, and have been keeping the roll under the sink for years, next to the kitchen cleaning supplies.

So this last weekend, I decided we needed a little organizer on the inside of the sink kitchen cabinet door to hold the paper towel roll. And while we are at it, why not add a shelf for our favorite cleaning supplies?

This is why I love DIY and building so much. You can take a couple of boards, chop them up, screw them back together, and for a fraction of retail cost, make something that truly improves your life.

We are into this little kitchen cabinet organizer for under $10 and about half an hour of work - but it's going to pay us back by making dreaded tasks that much easier for as long as we use this kitchen.

Every single project I work on is my absolute most favorite ever - but this one really is my most favorite (at least right now) because it is already making our lives easier.

And of course, I'm sharing the free plans with you below so you can also make your own kitchen cabinet organizer with paper towel holder. I can't wait to see what you come up with!
